Art is political INHERENTLY. Many artists like to pretend that they can exist outside of politics, but I don't believe that is true and I think the world is waking up to the truth... Politics has always been about people. Nina Simone once said it's an artist's duty to reflect on the times and I wrote this song because I wanted to challenge the idea that love isn't powerful. ALL roads lead back to our lack of love, our desire for love, our need to feel love. We give away so much of our power by refusing to see the world for what it is. Open your eyes to loves message...
